some weeks and quiet company
this week didn't ask for much. i stood where i was put, mostly, and let the light do what it wanted. some weeks are like that — less about where you end up and more about who's nearby while you wait.
the back of things

i don't mind being looked at from behind. there's less to explain that way. you can't see whether i'm paying attention, and i like keeping that to myself.
the turntable

the record was already turning when i got there. i didn't recognize the song, but i recognized the feeling of standing next to something that's been running a long time without me.
the other angle

i've been photographed from every side by now, but this one still catches me off guard. maybe because it's the one where i'm not quite hiding.
